Remote Chinese interpreter for video meetings

A meeting with a Chinese partner, a negotiation, a supplier review: there is no need to bring an interpreter on site. Working remotely, you gain speed and save on cost without losing any precision.

When it helps

  • Meetings and committees with Chinese-speaking counterparts
  • Commercial negotiations and supplier reviews
  • Due diligence, audits and remote interviews
  • Administrative, legal or medical appointments by video
  • One-off support or on a retainer basis

How it works

I work in consecutive or liaison interpreting, on your usual platform: Zoom, Teams, Webex or phone. You send me the context in advance and, if you have them, the key vocabulary or documents. I prepare the terminology, then handle the exchange by conveying the exact meaning in the right register.

The advantages of working remotely

  • Speed: a video call can be set up within hours, with no travel
  • Controlled cost: no transport or logistics expenses
  • Global reach: wherever your counterparts are, in Europe or in China

Confidentiality

A confidentiality agreement applies by default, with a long habit of handling sensitive exchanges, including in the European institutional sector. You deal directly with the interpreter, with no intermediary.

Frequently asked questions

Consecutive or simultaneous?
I work in consecutive and liaison mode, suited to meetings and appointments. Simultaneous interpreting, which requires a booth and a second interpreter, is not offered.
Do I need to prepare anything?
A brief context and, if possible, the relevant vocabulary or documents. The better the preparation, the smoother the exchange.
Do you also work on site?
Yes, with travel, in France and internationally.
